A European beginning.
An American favorite.

Before the familiar bag, there was a journey. In the 1950s, Pepperidge Farm founder Margaret Rudkin visited Belgium and discovered the delicate biscuits of Delacre in Brussels.

An agreement brought those cookies to America. In 1955, Pepperidge Farm introduced its Distinctive line, with Bordeaux among the names that would become familiar.
